Pat:  Hey everyone, good morning. It’s Pat Mussieux, coming to you live from the fabulous Wasaga Beach, Ontario, and I am heading out on the road but I wanted to stop and do this impromptu video. I’ve got funny messages popping up here this morning. Facebook has changed a little bit today.

I wanted to do this impromptu video for you because I want to talk about networking. For those of you who have been talking to me about the fear of networking, the challenge of summer networking, I’ve got a few tips for you.

First and foremost, you want to go and network with the right people, in the right place, at the right time, and so I’m in Wasaga Beach, doing exactly that with two of my colleagues from former lives, from my mastermind and from my team, actually, and so we’re hosting in a beautiful home here, at Pam’s house where she has a home office.

I want to take you down a little bit of a different path when it comes to networking. It doesn’t have to be like a Chamber of Commerce event or a hotel, or any of that kind of official routine, during the year networking events.

I’m here. I drove Linda up here to be with Pam, to do some work, I did some work, we networked, we brainstormed, we got a lot done, we had fun, and it was a good thing.

So my point here is that networking can be with your business colleagues and it could be in their home. I know some of you have talked about going to retreats, hosting retreats, and that can all seem and feel and be overwhelming and intimidating, so here’s a thought. Why don’t you just create your own and make it informal, because that’s really what we did here. This is very informal and yet very productive.

Now, I know what some of you are thinking and I know what some of you are saying to yourselves – I don’t have the kind of friends that you do, and I know that. I am very blessed. I’ve created these relationships, and that’s what you need and want to do as we head into the last quarter of the year. You want to develop some relationships where you can brainstorm and be yourself, and grow your business and have fun too.

So I’m here with Pam and Linda, and they’re going to pop in here and say a quick hello. I don’t even know how to get all these little notices off the screen, but they’re coming in anyway. I’ll wave these people away.

It’s kind of funny because we’ve got some posts up here and I don’t know how to get rid of them. Oh, it’s the comments. That’s what it is, and I don’t know how to get rid of the comments, but I can see you and you can see me.

I’ve got Linda on this side. Some of you know Linda Claire Puig. We’ve been on the road together, we’ve traveled together, and we’ve been in masterminds together. Pam Ivey, over here, our amazing hostess here in Wasaga Beach, and Linda’s from California and I’m from London. See, that’s how it works.

Pam used to be on my team and we’ve kept in touch. That’s how it works too, and so for those of you who don’t have amazing friends like I do, you can make friends. If you haven’t noticed, it’s not working necessarily in business, it’s not working in your life, it’s probably something that you’re thinking about, is this all there is and what can I do differently, and do I really want to be doing this for forever? So there are a lot of questions that happen around a certain age of life, and we’re going to be talking about how to get reinspired and very creative, and super productive in your business in a completely unique way that is actually going to have you feeling like you’re on vacation all the time.

Pat:  Like we’re feeling right here, right now.

Pam:  Who doesn’t want that?

Pat:  Yeah, Linda and I were down at the beach this morning doing our workout, and then we all go into our separate corners here, thanks to Pam’s Wi-Fi, and we go in our separate corners, hook in, and we do our work, and then we throw questions around, and you too can have this, is my point, so don’t be sitting there thinking oh, lucky them. It’s not about luck. So be on the webinar this afternoon.
